NanoLite: Smallest flashlight in the World?

I had a very similar flashlight (Firefly?), it was very handy. I still have it, but the batteries are darn near impossible to find. Other than that, it literally disappeared on a key chain, makes the Streamlight Nano look bulky!

I agree with you about the size being incentive to have a light with you at all times, but I think the positives stop there. I have had a few of these type lights in the past, and I find they are a bit underpowered for some common situations. The LED on a mobile phone is better in many cases. Also, I have lost a couple of the LEDs off the front because they became unscrewed from too much movement. And, as the previous poster said, the batteries can be very hard to find, and don't offer much run time. I would be more inclined to use a Photon Micro or Nitecore Tube. Both larger, but offer a little more utility.

That being said, I think it is an absolute MUST to have at least one common battery type (AA, AAA) light with you at all times. I, too, carry the Thrunite Ti. It covers A LOT of everyday needs. Also, the aluminum version is rather cheap considering its output.

These tiny little lights have their place, and could be useful as a backup to a backup, but I would never use one as my primary light.
