Gun Culture in USA vs. Gun Culture in Europe

Ferfal,
Thank you for having the courage to call guns "tools of liberty". As a 65 year old, retired, female teacher I am afraid of guns. Yet, I am a lifetime member of the NRA, a firm proponent of the 2nd amendment and a student of history. Our founding fathers understood what it took to remain a free people. We in the US are losing freedoms daily but God willing a free people will rise up and vote to restore what has been taken from us. Thank you again for confirming how wonderful our Constitution is.

You'd think that Europe having been through so many wars would be in favor of guns for the preservation of liberty.

You did miss one point about the Second as far as hunting goes; it is about hunting, but not about hunting wild animals. More like about hunting faithless politicians when all else fails, heh, heh, heh.

Europeans are brainwashed by their educational system and culture. One would think history would teach them something.

Self-defense is a natural right, and access to the common, effective tools (i.e. firearms) to put up that defense is part of it. Make no mistake, many Europeans have lost their right of self-defense.
